This is a beer lover´s dream trip! While most beer is (accidentally) vegan already, we are adding a vegan friendly itinerary and vegan-friendly foods to the mix. To top it all off, we will be doing a vegan version of Oktoberfest in Munich!

This morning, we leave Prague after breakfast and head to Plzeň/Pilsen, which, of course is most famous for its namesake beer, Pilsner Urquell. We will enjoy a tour of the brewery, learn the distinction of a Pilsner and a Helles, for example and enjoy some free time in this charming city before we head to Munich, where we will check in, relax a bit and head to dinner.

Day 4

Date : 29 September 2026

Oktoberfest

Today´s the day - or at least, almost: maybe you want to go shopping this morning to "dress for the occasion" and get ready for Oktoberfest. Plenty of places sell drindls across town and they range from dirt cheap to crazy expensive, so it´s really up to you!

No pressure tough, there is no dress code at the "Wiesn", as Oktoberfest is locally known but most people come in traditional (or at least, traditional looking) clothes.

We do have a reservation for a table today which includes beer and food and while it will probably start out slow, the party will really get going sooner than you think it would.

Our table is reserved for four hours and afterwards, feel free to stick around the grounds, we might go to another tent together, who knows.

I wrote an article about it here

Breakfast and long lunch (at Oktoberfest, with beer) included.

Overnight in Munich

Day 5

Date : 30 September 2026

After breakfast, we start the day with a visit to the local market, the Viktualienmarkt, which sells seasonal produce, typical Bavarian foods and there is a vegan butchery right next to it! This would not be Munich if it didn`t also feature a beer garden.

We will enjoy a traditional Bavarian lunch.

In the afternoon, we will head back to Oktoberfest, go on a few rides, maybe check out a different tent and maybe the "Oide Wiesn", Oktoberfest´s smaller, "older" (oid) more relaxing, sister.

Breakfast and lunch included
