On Halong Bay

“Traverse Vietnam from north to south — from misty rice paddies and rescued bears in Ninh Binh to a New Year’s Eve on a wooden junk boat in Halong Bay, imperial tombs in Huế, lantern-lit Hội An, and the electric streets of Saigon.”

Vietnam has one of the most exciting plant-based food cultures in Southeast Asia — rooted in centuries of Buddhist vegetarian tradition and exploding with creativity in every city we visit.

This isn’t a trip where vegan food is an afterthought. From guided vegan food tours with locals to a farm-to-table cooking class in Hội An — eating well is woven into every single day.

🐻

Wildlife With a Conscience

Visit the Bear Sanctuary Ninh Binh — run by FOUR PAWS — where bears rescued from bile farms roam freely amid misty limestone cliffs and rice paddies. One of the most moving stops on this journey, and a reminder of exactly why we travel the way we do.
